In the rural villages around Sohag, it's all too easy for children to slip through the net of primary education. However a new type of school is being developed where teachers take a back seat and guide the students as they work together, learning subjects through a form of peer educations. The story is presented and researched by two young people from Sohag who were trained as journalists by Offshoot for the UN project on the MDGs - Sailing the Nile.
