No video yesterday due to technical problems. You didn't miss much. Today is a different story as Keith has an excellent program for you. He goes into depth again about how Bush's plan all along was to occupy Iraq indefinitely with never any attention of getting out. He shows how the number of those killed and wounded are being changed so that the Repugs can claim a 75 percent decline in the casualty rate. The first two segments will certainly tick you off. Billo is back as worst person.
It's all Petraeus as our government continues to play kick the can. Our government has broken down completely and has become nothing but a means to an end, the end being for our politiciains to stay in office and to hold onto power and screw the country. It's not like any of these people in Washington give a damn. Not one of them has the guts to stand up and say, "Enough is enough." We're not going to give in to it anymore. Today the Republicans were bitching and moaning about an ad by Move On that said Petraeus or Betray Us? And of course, Democrat Joe Biden cowered behind the idiocy and said that was not a nice thing to say. Yet, we all know it is true. But again, its attack the messenger, and not the message.
In the first segment, it's still more Dirty Larry Craig who may resign on Saturday. In other segments Keith takes a look at the mass exodus of Republicans from the White House, and then shows how to make a surge look like it's working. You simply quit counting most of those killed. A segment on Diana's Memorial service, Dragnet again, and Craig's strange comments about Clinton which are strange. Finally, the issue of whether Keith is wearing a toupee is explored as Tom Delay makes worst person.
The Petreaus Report...well it's not really a report, it turns out that Petreaus will report to Congress but he won't be putting anything on paper. I guess there just isn't much to tell. I read a column earlier comparing Petreaus to William Westmoreland, and that's not a good thing. Did you know that the war has shrunk? Yes, the war is no longer the Iraq war, but is now only the Anbar Province war where the Sunni leaders have taken up arms against Al Qaida for the time being. The only problem is, once Al Qaida is taken care of, there's still although Shiites. And there is the problem of government corruption in Iraq. Bin Laden is back and in good health. He took a trip down to the local drugstore to buy some dye for his beard. Uh...who said he was going to get Bin Laden dead or alive six years ago. Oh yeah, the shrub. All this and more.
