Cool Japan -- Japanese TV series. This episode looks at 'decoration' in Japan. Superb feature is a truck driver's massive decoration of the Virgin Mary plastered... well, painted, gloriously all over his truck. Bauble-encrusted keitais, gold-plated food, nado nado. Oh, and if you ever send a Japanese friend a proper Christmas cake, and it has a notice 'Remove decoration before eating', make sure you tell them it's only referring to the silk ribbon, the plastic holly, etc. Otherwise they'll remove the icing like my friends did! Oh, ambiguity.
