Secret Mysteries of America’s Beginnings 1: The New Atlantis
Secret Mysteries of America’s Beginnings unfolds the fascinating history behind the founding of America, and exposes the esoteric underbelly of its design. Why is Washington, D.C. built on the 77th Meridian? Are the Revolutionary War cities really built in perfect alignment with Stonehenge? If America was founded as a Christian nation, why are many of its symbols based on Pagan traditions? There is no doubt that much of America’s national heritage was Christian, but just as a coin has two sides, our national heritage has a second side – one based squarely on occult secret societies and their values. To find the answer to these questions, we follow the journey of secret societies from England to the New World and learn of their ancient hope: to rebuild the lost empire of Atlantis.
Subtitled Revelations from the Lost Pages of History, the series highlights 2,000 years of conflict over the Christian day of worship. From the revolutionary Sabbath teachings of Jesus to the Sabbath-keeping Taiping Revolution in the 19th century China, from the first Sunday-keeping churches in Rome and Alexandria to the Sabbath-keeping reformers of 15th century Russia, The Seventh Day tells the story of the Sabbath as it has never been told before.

Ehrman received his Ph.D and M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary where he studied under Bruce Metzger. He currently serves as the chairman of the Department of Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was the President of the Southeast Region of the Society of Biblical Literature, and worked closely as an editor on a number of the Society's publications. Currently, he co-edits the series New Testament Tools and Studies. Ehrman became an Evangelical Christian as a teen. He attended Moody Bible Institute and Wheaton College (B.A., 1978). His desire to know the original words of the Bible led him to textual criticism, which in turn undermined his faith in the Bible as the inerrant word of God. Ehrman now considers himself an agnostic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bart_D._Ehrman ---- THERE IS HOPE! Learn about Islam = 1 version of the Qur'an, NEVER changed...
This is a review of the user interface of Revit 2010 compared to Revit 2009. The UI has been significantly and unnecessarily "redesigned". And unfortunately the changes made are confusing and inconsistent. Perhaps a ribbon is a great UI for designing a spread sheet, slide show, document or 2D CAD file (all flat spaces) but it's terribly inelegant for designing a building where you have things (walls, doors, dimensions) and tools to manipulate those things. The last thing the users want is a workbench full of tools moving around from task to task. But unfortunately this is exactly what happens with the new "ribbon" in Revit 2010.
