Tale of Mari and the 3 Puppies Part 1
Left by the roadside as a puppy, Mari, portrayed in the film by a Shiba Inu, is taken in by a family which recently has lost its mother to illness. A year later she herself has three puppies, just in time for a major earthquake which strikes the mountain village where she lives. Although valiant herself in trying to rescue the family‘s grandfather, there is no choice but to leave her behind in the evacuation of all the village‘s inhabitants. The film follows her adventures as well as those of the two children to whom she belongs during two long and arduous weeks of separation.

Taro a 12-year-old boy hospitalized in a small seaside town, brings a bit of levity into the lives of the other patients by acting as resident DJ. Starring Ryunosuke Kamiki, “Little DJ” is a compelling drama with great music from the 70's.

All world cinematographers (including British ones) have admitted that Vasiliy Livanov is the best Sherlock Holmes that ever appeared on screen. And it is true. There were made several movies about the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr.Watson for Russian TV in the late 70's and early 80's, including such films as The Meeting, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Bloody Script and many more (about 10 total number)...
