After pushing LUB out of Despise, they return to try a second crash. However they arrive a little too late. In the initial rush you can see 4-5 LUB just run right over candelabras which should block them. In fact it appears the vast majority of LUB are using a cheat which lets them walk over objects which should block you. Such widespread exploitation is not even seen from another infamous guild on Atlantic, VIP.
VIP likes to come to hang out at our guildhouse. Theirs must not be as nice. We have to chase them off on almost a nightly basis.
Here is some video of a big fight around a collapsing Keep. VIP and MSI are allied. V-C and COW are supposed to be, but V-C is hesitant to attack VIP. Even though at times I am the only HOT member there, V-C will constantly turn their attention to me instead of the people they are supposed to be fighting: VIP.
We have setup a trap and Peon of VIP guild falls for it despite knowing it was there.
Another Despise fight. VIP fail to push on to the island. LUB shows up and catches them from behind. LUB then fail to push the island as well. There is also a little discussion about LUB's unusual ability to walk through blocking objects.
After doing a couple Despise spawns someone finally shows up to raid! It is the new to Atlantic LUB guild. The fight begins all over Despise. Instead of focusing on holding a single location (boring) we split up into groups to engage LUB (fun). Eventually LUB has enough and gets in one large group to pick us off. So we back up to the island. LUB heads down to the line-of-sight-broken bridge and begins their assault. But they can't seem to make their way past HOT's expert defenses. My internet connection goes down at 11:05 and I am out for several minutes. When I get back I am told VIP crushed LUB and replaced them. In fact a few were on the island when I logged in. I wasn't able to restart the capture until a couple minutes later though. At one point we were holding LUB and VIP off from both bridges. In the end HOT wins and leaves through the black moongate.
Another fight between VIP (also known as BYC and E_F) at the Despise champion spawn. Despite there being a wall of candelabras, VIP decides that the safety of the east bridge trumps the wide open west bridge. HOT repels all their attacks with ease. Unfortunate for VIP, up and coming LUB guild gets in behind them. VIP are completely unable to move and just get pummeled over and over.
Pepsi of HOT was dueling some LUB, I don't know the LUB's main name. He ends up losing. After I stopped the recording he proceeds to Pepsi who had gone AFK for a minute. I got to resurrect him when LUB begins to gank me. After I talk with him a bit. He makes some excuses and then starts saying I should go get a chick. I guess this is the level of LUB PVP.
VIP were chasing my stealther in Despise. I hid and started up the video real quick. They stand around for a few moments, thinking I had already left through the teleporter. One even walks on top of me but must have missed the system message informing them that someone was hidden there. The same person encounters an "invisible wall", but rather than investigate they walk around me. VIP are completely inept when it comes to tracking down hidden players.
