Whenever the forces of evil threatened mankind, the Avengers were always earth's unstoppable heroes - until they fell to the malevolent robot Ultron, and all hope seemed lost. But, kept secret by Tony Stark (Iron Man), the world's future lay in the hands of four amazing teenagers. James (Son of Captain America and Black Widow), Torunn (Daughter of Thor), Azari (Son of the Black Panther), and Pym (Son of Wasp and Giant Man) must now fight a battle that even their super parents could not win. The odds are stacked against them, but joined by the arrow-slinging son of Hawkeye, they just might have a chance, if they can find the missing Hulk and come together as the heroes of tomorrow, to defeat Ultron and become...the Next Avengers!

  • I can not believe the intricacy of this story. Every issue that comes from the secret invasion reveals more of marvel history and continuity that is wrapped up in this arch. I just happened to go back this weekend and reread the beginning of the new avengers series that involved the savage land stuff that came into play this issue and that it was the skrulls that were mining the vibranium. I was like “of course it was them”. It’s great that Ka Zar and the savage land crew have even been playing a part in this it. Marvel really is including all of its’ universe. They leave us with a great cliff hanger as Captain America busts through the trees ready to take out the savage landers. Now, if Cap is a Skrull, of course he wants to take out Ka Zar, but he’s also been vouched for. Who knows.

  • Warning: A bit disturbing, nothing graphic, but scene does include cartoon death. My favorite scene in Batman TAS. The Death of Batgirl. This scene comes from an episode called "Over the Edge". This episode was really good, it had everything I ever want. Revenge, betrayal, exposing the Bat family and the most important point for me, NIGHTWING!! Everyone go out and watch it if you like this scene.
