I sped up the captured video 1000%, cutting 10 minutes down to one. We chased VIP all over the place. They love hiding at the server line. We chased one so far along the line he would have run out of it if we didn't kill him.
Sorry for no sound. I attack Jade of the True Britannians at Yew Moongate. She runs around and around and around. When Aeyko of the Shadowlords jumps in I stop the pursuit.
VIP were chasing my stealther in Despise. I hid and started up the video real quick. They stand around for a few moments, thinking I had already left through the teleporter. One even walks on top of me but must have missed the system message informing them that someone was hidden there. The same person encounters an "invisible wall", but rather than investigate they walk around me. VIP are completely inept when it comes to tracking down hidden players.
One night the HOT Guild of Atlantic shard ventured into the Labyrinth seeking out fabled Minotaur boss Meraktus the Tormented. What they found was more than they bargained for. www.uoguide.com/Meraktus_the_Tormented
Back to back fights, a repeat of last night but with a different result! HOT Guild holds the island for over 30 minutes. VIP and COW then coordinate a giant push which knocks out HOT. But HOT quickly regroups and heads back full force, taking no prisoners. The champion is promptly defeated. I sped up some parts to cut down the video length. I also left out the repetitive music to keep down file size.
Here is an exciting movie of the fight between UO's largest guild [HOT] and the never giving up unless they do [VIP]. The fight is heavily one-sided in HOT's favor. When VIP gets a lucky break taking down several HOT at once, the multi-directional attacks between VIP and V-C are enough to push HOT from the island. In this video I have cut out the boring times when there is no fighting, as noted by the fade to black scenes.
[Be sure to watch Part 1 first!] One night the HOT Guild of Atlantic shard ventured into the Labyrinth seeking out fabled Minotaur boss Meraktus the Tormented. What they found was more than they bargained for. www.uoguide.com/Meraktus_the_Tormented
About a week ago Pepsi and I did some dueling. The first one went on for about 10 minutes, the second went for over 20. He ended up winning both, but here is an excerpt from one to show how fierce and intense it was.
One of the first kills on Sicarii for the Atlantic shard. Also done before all the left over event spawn (Efreets and Phoenix) were removed. So it was a lot harder than normal!
Have you ever been the victim of an opponent hitting you from off screen? A mage casting Flamestrike? Arrows coming out of no where? Just because you don't see anyone on your screen does not mean you are alone. When running, the Ultima Online client can only approximate the position of another player chasing you. This has nothing to do with latency (lag), it has to do with the client just being unable to show you exactly where your opponent(s) are every fraction of a second. As you can see from this video, while one player sees no one the other appears to be running right behind.
