9/14/08 - 'Southside' John's 85 mile flight from Blackhawk w/ me driving chase. A few scenes from Owen's personal best of 80.4 miles and Tony launching his Atos VR on a flight of 105 miles. Some scenes from my hang gliding flight off of Crestline on 9/6/08 @ the Andy Jackson/Rob Kells Memorial Fly-In. Climb to 7,400' and some scenes from the LZ. This was my second mountain flight in 28 years and my best flight ever.
Scenes from my first mountain solo hang gliding flight since ~1980. 90 minute flight in broken up thermals flying a Wills Wing Sport 2 155. Best climb was a 1,700' gain from 3,300' in one thermal in 7 minutes. I edited this showing me taking still photos then added the stills. I hope you enjoy it!
