  • http://www.ultimatecombat.com http://www.youtube.com/ultimatecombat Here's me (the tall skinny one) getting schooled by Jeff "No Mercy" Moody (the shorter bigger guy with the tatoos)in one of my early fights. At the time, I had trained exclusively in taekwondo and had only done one other kickboxing match, and had never done any clinch fighting. Jeff had a lot of experience fighting under muay thai, kickboxing and MMA rules. This was a middleweight bout. Since then, I have never fought anyone that hit as hard as that or even close. In fact, Jeff's only loss in a stand-up fight, that I know of, was to the current ISKA middle-weight amateur Muay Thai champion of the world-and it took some seriously slick technique like you wouldn't believe. I realize a lot of you keyboard warriors have talked yourselves up as if you were the composite offspring of Bruce Lee and Chuck Liddell, but I seriously doubt any of you guys would fair any better against Jeff than I did in a Muay Thai fight. He's KO'd much tougher guys than me and made it look easy. The rules were modified Muay Thai: all knees allowed, no elbows. Jeff has since cornered for me and taught me quite a bit about kickboxing. He's a pretty cool guy when he's not punching your jaw through your brain.
