While in Edinburgh for the day, I met family who took me to various sites that involved my family. This video shows several clips involving the Covenanters. My 8th Great-Grandfather was Thomas Brownlee, 2nd Laird of Torfoot, who fought in the Battles of Drumclog & Bothwell Bridge, where he was captured, held in an outdoor prison at Greyfriars Churchyard before being put on a ship that wrecked off the Orkney Islands. He was one of app. 50 survivors.

Cruisecritics meeting Azamara Journey July 31, 2008
Just an informal meeting of a bunch of cruising fanatics called cruise critics; we met in the library on the 2nd day of the cruise. My apologies to those that I missed filming!
We lost our 2nd beta fish in a month. This one, (the one we gave Jaelin for his birthday last year) lasted a whole year, and he was tiny & sickly the whole time. But since we had him so long, we grew kind of attached to him. Edited with Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro and Color.
Last year, (before I got the XLH1), I got this with my daughter's handicam. So I used "Color" to make it look like really old bad film instead of just bad film. LOL
More of the wedding (it was a huge file!)
Toward the end of our cruise, we were in the North Sea. I was filming from our balcony as I always did, but rushed inside to get a shot of something out of the bedroom window, when a huge wave swept over the bow & came in thru the balcony door! Lucky for me that I came in or I'd still be mourning the loss of my XLH1!
A very quick trip to Belfast, Ireland; didn't turn out the way we had hoped.
This was such a friendly place. We went for a walk and bought some t-shirts & a "Nessie" and bagpipe-playing teddy bear for the kids. And beautiful scenery coming into and out of the area.
During my brief visit to Edinburgh, I was picked up by relatives who showed me around the family's historic sites, which included the original old stone part of the house that my great-great-great grandparents lived in over 400 years ago.
This was in Dublin, Ireland, where we got off the ship to eat at a pub and walk around briefly, catching this street performer.
