Fighter in the Wind is loosely based on the manga that portrays Masutatsu Oyama's legendary feats and heroism, which is not actually based on a true story. The movie is a tribute to his "indomidable spirit". *Dimmed Down*-Its basically a comic book brought to life about a martial arts hero who created Kyokushin Karate. The man is real but the story; not so much.
