Skipping forward from the events that previously occurred, Ruby wakes up in a tent surrounded by Tsukune and the girls. The question on their mind is why Ruby would go so far to attack them? After answering them, Ruby manages to sneak out and returns to her master, just to end up forced to take action. Tsukune and the girls had out in search for Ruby when all of a sudden they are attacked by Ruby again and a huge battle begins.
Tsukune is about to be executed for being a human and Moka can't do a thing about it and elsewhere the rest of the girls are down in the dumps. But as the time for the execution draws near, help arrives in the form that will bring all the girls together, to fight for the one they love.
Tsukune Aono is a below average student who is unable to get into any private schools, due to his poor grades, but is accepted into Youkai Academy, a mysterious high school. There he meets beautiful girl called Moka Akashiya and she claims to be a vampire. If things weren't strange enough for Tsukune, it turns out that he is the only human in the school and he's already made an enemy of one of the monsters
The Newspaper club returns from summer vacation to the beginning of their 2nd semester and discover that their club has a new challenge in the form of a rival club "The Super Newspaper Club". With the new club constantly beating them to the punch, things are looking pretty hopeless for newspaper club. To make matters worse, the new club is being backed by the Public Safety Commission
The infamous Maths teacher Ririko Kagome has begun teaching and it has reminded Tsukune of how useless he is with maths. So he asks Mako to help teach him but he ends up studying with everyone. When Ririko hears about this study session, she invites Tsukune to a remedial class instead. Tsukune accepts but this may not be a wise decision, as Ririko is known for being very obsessed and strict.
