The Doctor visits Earth for Christmas, and encounters a man known only as the Showman. With brutality and cunning seen only in the Doctor's darkest enemies, the Showman begins to wreak havoc on the people of London, and only the Doctor can stop him, with the help of a new companion...
Despite the rescue of Jack and Martha from the caverns of the Dalek command ship, the situation still seems hopeless, and continues to be full of loss. Even now, the few remaining fighters are exterminated or enslaved, the Dalek fleet advances on the Valiant, and the Doctor is nowhere to be seen. NB: The sound effect for the 'rain' is a little jumpy. Forgive me, but there was nothing I could do to fix it.
While investigating a destroyed colony, the ATLAS receives a visitor that will change the course of human existance.
As the last of Earth's defences crumble and fall to the might of the Dalek Armada, Chloe Winters and Captain Jack Harkness stage a daring attempt to board the Dalek command ship and destroy it from the inside. Little do they know, however, that the Doctor is alive and well aboard the vessel, as well as a certain other foe from the past...
Whilst on the jungle planet of Tropico Eight, the Doctor encounters an age-old enemy and Chloe must step forward to unite the human race.
The Doctor, Martha and Jack are imprisoned aboard the Master's TARDIS, and the Daleks seem in complete control. With the human race bartering the Doctor's life in return for it's own survival, and strife between the Master and his allies, will the Doctor be able to survive the epic finale to the series, and is Chloe Winters truly gone forever?
