UFO 1947 flyover Portland Oregon 60th Anniversary Jefferson Kincade
Live on July 4 2007 in Portland Oregon the 60th year since 1947 UFO flap, a remembrance and presentation of ufo sightings in the news. Newspapers were reporting the news then about UFOS then and all of a sudden the reporting stopped...why? Jefferson Kincade presents from the library microfilm archives copies of the headlines from that year. Has disinformation stopped reporting of Ufos here. Tom Bowden, state director of MUFON Oregon, speaks. They have a meeting once a month and a website on the net. Newspaper articles from 1947 were copied and blown up for viewing. Sightings by Kenneth Arnold in that year were not the only ones, there were lots more. This is the first year of this event with more to come.
