The funloving Kerbys, stockholders in the bank of which henpecked, stuffy Cosmo Topper is president, drive recklessly once too often and become ghosts. In limbo because they've never done either good or bad deeds, they decide to try a good one now: rehabilitating Topper. Lovely, flirtatious Marion takes a keen personal interest in the job. Will Topper survive the wrath of jealous ghost George? Will Mrs. Topper find that a scandalous husband isn't all bad?
Dir. by Ted Mills, 2001. A worker on a distant planet answers a mysterious siren call. Shot on fantastic Super 8 black and white, and featuring a score by Jeff Kaiser. Starring Kary Cawley, Brian Singer, Paul Gersowitz, and Masako Takagi.
Topper is once again tormented by a fun-loving spirit. This time, it's Joan Blondell, who was accidentally murdered while vacationing at the home of her wealthy friend, Ann Carrington (Landis), the intended victim. With Topper's help, Joan sets out to find her killer with the expected zany results.

MR. MOTO'S GAMBLE 1938 PETER LORRE TRAILER
Theatrical trailer for the third "Mr. Moto" entry starring Peter Lorre, MR. MOTO'S GAMBLE. This film actually began as CHARLIE CHAN AT RINGSIDE, but when then-Chan Warner Oland (birth name John Verner Olund) suffered a mental breakdown with acute dementia, Fox rewrote the script and included both Key Luke -- as Jimmy Chan -- and Harold Huber -- as Police Lieutenant Riggs -- from the series. Fox then replaced Swedish-born Oland, with Sidney as Chan Chan (ironically, who was also born in Sweden) and resumed the popular Charlie Chan series with CHARLIE CHAN IN HONOLULU (1938). Oland died of bronchial pneumonia in his native Sweden on August 6, 1938 five months after the release of MR. MOTO'S GAMBLE.
