It's November 15 2008 7:18am in Northern Illinois ...In my opinion it's the peak of the rut in this ... part of the country. My good friend Ron Levin of www.AfterTheHuntTaxidermy.Com... acquired permission for me to bow hunt ALL of his Big buck hot spots. I was hunting a creek crossing where the trail funneled down in a dense thicket. While this is not the biggest buck I have harvested...It IS a prerequisite to harvest a Boone and Crockett Whitetail buck on this property. Ron implements Quality deer management ...and in order for me to arrow a Booner...I was required to cull a inferior buck. It had snowed about 5 inches the night before and the deer were feeding heavily. I was able to get a Quick Clip of a Nice 10 point buck I had never seen before...Also I was able to capture another glimpse of the BIG 10 pointer that I had videos of on November 7 2008....
