How to Witness to Jehovah's Witnesses Part 1 of 2
Randall Watters and Robert Sullivan demonstrate how to develop a dialogue with JWs. They give pointers on how to bring up doctrinal issues with the JW without ending up playing a âÂÂcheckersâ game. This is very good if you are really interested; otherwise it can be very dry.
Questions for Jehovah Witnesses: According to "Insight" Vol. 2, p. 394, a Jehovah Witness document, Jesus Christ is the Archangel Michael. Do you have Scripture to support it? NWT Hebrews 1:4-6 So he has become better than the angels, to the extent that he has inherited a name more excellant than theirs. For example, to which one of the angels did he [God] ever say: "You are my son; I, today, I have become your father"? And again: I myself shall become his father, and he himself will become my son"? But when he again brings his First-born into the inhabited earth, he says: "And let all God's angels worship him [Jesus]." Why was the word worshipped changed to obeisance else where in the NWT, but not in Hebrews 1:6? Who is this verse referring to? - NWT Isaiah 9:6 For there has been a child given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counsler, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
