You might say Kami Hanson's experience this weekend was a bit like a first year bowler rolling a 300... Maybe a rookie in Major League Baseball tossing a perfect game. That is basically what the senior at Des Lacs-Burlington High School is a rookie in the sport of hunting. This is her first year and it will be one she won't soon forget! This is what she bagged Saturday near Berthold! A bull moose weighing in at about 900 pounds with a 38 inch spread. In her first year, she was lucky enough to get her hunting tag and after weeks of scouting got this big guy. It was a day-long chore getting him loaded up...but certainly worth all the work.
