The person seeing the effect may think the person with flaring shields has no shields, but he actually does. - For those saying that you could just set no shield regeneration in the settings. That's fine and all, but if you don't want the guy to die in one hit, then I would do it our way, because in the Trick Of Legend we had times where we would have them hit, and if we had set no shield regeneration they would have died.
