Dus - A nerve racking journey into the world of lies, deceit, murder and mayhem. It's the story of a parallel world where heroism and treason, conmen and cops exist side by side.
"Don" - A huge Indian contingent embarks on a dangerous cat-and-mouse trail of capturing Don, the ruthless drug mafia in Malaysia. When Don gets seriously injured in a police encounter, the word that he is dead begins to do the rounds. The reality, of course, is that Don is held captive in a secret location, while his bumpkin of a look-alike, Vijay, is polished and sent to take down Don's gang. In a bizarre twist of fate, when the man shielding the humble and streetwise Vijay, is killed, the latter comes to terms with the horrifying realization that both the police and the gang are out to nab him for different reasons. In a desperate attempt to prove his innocence, he is aided by Roma, played by Priyanka Chopra, and Jasjit, played by Arjun Rampal. Based on the classic of the same name, the contemporary and stylishly crafted "Don", features Bollywood czar Shah Rukh Khan and former Miss World, Priyanka Chopra. "Don" is considered the biggest and most keenly awaited motion picture of 2006.

"Dil Chahta Hai" - The story of three friends Akash, played by Aamir Khan, Sameer, played by Saif Ali Khan, and Sidharth, played by Akshaye Khanna. Just out of college, they have different view points about love. Sidharth loves a divorcee, played by Dimple Kapadia. Sameer, who constantly keeps falling in and out of love, finally settles for a girl, played by Sonali Kulkarni, chosen by his parents. Akash, who does not believe in love, goes to Australia to handle his father’s business. He meets Shalini, played by Preity Zinta, who is betrothed to another man and they become friends. Their friendship soon turns into love and Akash has to accept the inevitable. Director Farhan Akhtar's (son of lyricist Javed Akhtar and scriptwriter Honey Irani) debut attempt is an entertaining tale with a different perspective on the friendship angle. Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy have come up with a winning score.
"Humko Deewana Kay Gaye" - Aditya, played by Akshay Kumar, an automobile engineer in a car company, is engaged to Sonia, played by Bipasha Basu, a fashion designer who is about to make her mark in the field. Though the marriage date is fixed, Aditya had to leave for Canada to learn about the technique of a new car model, to be launched in India; while Sonia had to leave for Paris for a fashion show. Aditya arrives in Canada where his sister Simran, played by Bhagyashree, is living. Jia, daughter of business tycoon Yashwardhan Birla, has come to Canada all alone to shop for her wedding with the business giant, Karan Raichand. Jia was a simple girl with simple needs. She had everything she could ask for in her childhood, but never time from her ever so busy father. And now the man her father had chosen for her hardly had any time to spend with her too - that is when she found a friend in Aditya. However, fate makes them meet for the last time – at Jia’s wedding.
"Chup Chup Ke" - Directed by Priyadarshan and starring Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor, the movie is a feel-good romantic comedy of errors and mistaken identities: The story revolves around Shahid Kapoor, an unlucky but good hearted young man, who finds himself faking his own death to escape his various creditors and free his family from disgrace. Shahid ends up not dead but in another town being forced to assume another identity as a mute to avoid too many questions. His love interest is Kareena Kapoor, who plays a mute by birth in the film. Shahid is trapped in a false identity and lands from jam into another as he tries to hide his secret in this romantic family comedy.
