Mitsubishi presents the new Outlander Concept car on the Mondial de l´Automobile in Paris as a precursor of the new Outlander Model comming up in europe next year. The Outlander Concept has a 2.0 Liter DI-D diesel engine with 140 hp and a six gear manual transmission.
Designed for a fashion-conscious generation that has grown up with mobile phones, the Ford Verve Concept -- due to be revealed at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show -- gives the first hints of Ford's future small-car design vision. Drawing heavily on the kinetic design philosophy that has transformed the company's fortunes in recent years, the Verve Concept also incorporates elements from the world of fashion and pioneering new technologies. The layout of the cutting edge dashboard mimics the latest mobile phones, while the interior is finished in luxurious magenta fabrics straight from the catwalk. "Our Design team took an unrestrained approach to how our future small cars could look, and this eye-catching concept was one of the results. If we get the reaction we expect, I'm certain that the team will incorporate elements of this advanced design vision into our final production design." said John Fleming, President and CEO of Ford of Europe. At the Paris Auto Show, Opel presented the Corsa Van Concept study. The basis for the sporty city transporter is the three-door Corsa; however, the rear lateral windows have been replaced by black sheet metal, a separating net separates passengers and cargo. Opel does not volunteer any information on the cargo space. The extremely sporty version looks rather like an exercise for the OPC variant, which will be released with 200 hp.
Mitsubishi presented the V-6 concept Outlander in Geneva which comes with a 3 liter engine with 220 horsepower.
