This tigers name is Reese. She is stalking and hissiing at a big black snake that slithered into her naturalistic habitat yard. It is so funny, she is peaking at the snake, hissing and then hopping backwards. Reese was rescued & brought to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Eureka Springs Arkansas where she will live out her life with as much diginity as possible. African Lions live in family groups called Prides. The females lions do most of the hunting. These large carnivores never make good pets. The job of the male african lion is to protect the Pride and its territory. Lionesses help each other take care of the lion cubs in the Pride.
