Feeling a bit desperate, she asks the Lord to give her a sign. She enters a church where she finds Rafael, giving a eulogy for his wife. Touched by everything Rafael said, Alexis tries everything to get close to him. He is still in hurting from the loss of his wife but she is willing to fill in the void. And even though he feels that he is not yet ready for another commitment, she feels that he is the one she has been looking for.

"S.M.S", which stands for 'Sampalataya' (Worship), 'Mata' (Eye), and 'Suwail' (Insolent), is our short film project for our Film Criticism subject in Cavite State University. This is a trilogy of some of the most popularly forwarded text message stories in the Philippines (thus the title SMS). Now remade on film, the movie showcases three stories: the atheist couple, the one-eyed mom, and the insolent son. Due to lack of adequate time and uber hectic sched, from the original 6 scenarios, they were cut into 3. And we've only used an ordinary Digital8 cam.
