In 1999, this short film was awarded Outstanding Narrative Short Film at the L.A. Outfest. and deservedly so. This is a poignant, affecting, and honest piece of work with a serious moral and a perfect denouement.

A terrific, breezy, sweet short film on coming to age! It's tenderhearted-teen-girl-gets-crush-on-closeted-gay-cutie, but the film is so wonderfully nuanced and manages to nail the closeted life right on the head that you don't care that it's got to end with some broken hearts.
