Shaggy and Scooby always work together in the morning to help Shaggy prepare for his morning paper delivery route. However, when Scooby comes across a green monster that steals Shaggy’s bike, Shaggy decides to get his friends to help him figure out who is responsible for doing such a dirty deed. The Scooby-Doo Detective Agency is born and the gang starts their way on the trail for Shaggy’s missing bike, though they soon come across a haunted house and what seems to be a major counterfeit scheme.
When the Coolsville Bank is robbed, the janitor says he saw a monster in the vault and that it was responsible for the theft. However, nobody believes him except for the Scooby-Doo Detective Agency, so they decide to try to see if they can find the monster he talked about, though things soon take a turn for the worse when the monster seems to be wondering around Scooby’s giant doghouse.
The gang is happy to go to a TV studio to watch their favorite game show, though things soon take a turn for the worse when the ghost of Al Kabone appears and postpones the show. The Scooby-Doo Detective Agency decides to investigate the issue, though will they be able to discover who this ghostly gangster actually is?
Scooby and Shaggy are at the Coolsville Comic Book Convention where they learn that their old friend has been saving the first issue of Commander Cool for them. While they are ecstatic to be able to acquire such a rare edition of their favorite heroes book, they find themselves in trouble when one of Commander Cool’s enemies attempts to steal the comic book from them.
Scooby and Shaggy go to see a scary film while dropping off Shaggy's baby sister at the sitters, but they are horrified when they find the sitter is hideous. What's worse is that the monster movie character has come to life and an escaped convict is on the loose.
The gang heads down to a snowy mountain ski resort for the weekend. Their fun is turned into a disaster when a monstrous creature shows up to turn them into ice. Then soon some developers are trying to get the owner to sell the ski resort.
Scooby decides to go visit his family, though he soon discovers that they are all concerned with a curse that was supposedly placed on their family. The Scooby-Doo Detective Agency decides to investigate the curse in order to prove to the family that they have nothing to be concerned with, though they soon discover that there actually does seem to be a beast in their midst.
The gang heads down to the Marine Institute where Velma's aunt works to help solve the mystery of her dolphins' disappearance. Then they discover a Headless Skateboarder who tries to chase them away.
Fred, Daphne, and Velma help Shaggy and Scooby clear their names when they're framed for stealing a bunch of Japanese swords with a curse, when the Samuri Ghost is the one that stole the swords.
When the rest of the members of the Scooby-Doo Detective Agency are too busy to play with him, Scooby decides that he’s had enough and he decides to run away. However, when the gang finishes up their work, they discover Scooby’s absence so they decide to try to track him down in hopes of apologizing, though they soon discover a monster is terrorizing a part of the town in the process.
