Dateline: San Diego, CA. From the California Democratic Convention.
Dateline: Los Angeles, CA. They say dreams can come true here, and so they did. Citizen Kate touched Barack Obama! I mean I think did. Alright, you should go to the tape. One thing about LA, you can wear a lot sexier clothes here. Note to self: Politics can get hot. Become a politician in places where you can wear one layer of clothing.
John Edwards lied to me. He said that he was all about honesty and openness. Uh huh. Welcome to politics.. Also, I think he was nervous about me, I look a lot like Reille, his mistress. Maybe he thought I was there to out him? I had no idea. Take a look.
Alec Baldwin narrates the story of legendary community organizer, Saul Alinsky, and his modern-day legacy. "The Democratic Promise: Saul Alinsky & His Legacy," narrated by actor Alec Baldwin, examines the life and legacy of the controversial community organizer Alinsky and his modern-day legacy. The first half of the program chronicles the Chicago-based organizer Saul Alinsky and three key Alinsky organizations to show how his techniques developed over time including The Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council, in Chicago's blighted stockyards in the 1930's. By forming an unprecedented coalition between the Catholic Church and the Meatpackers Union, Alinsky was able to force several landmark concessions from the meatpacking industry. These three organizations show how Alinsky's ideas, in turn, influenced the civil rights movement, the farmworkers struggle and many Vietnam era political protests...
At my first press conference I learned this rule: politicians only call on their friends. Noe to self: make more friends.
Dateline: Springfield, IL My first attempt to meet Barack and my first political rally. Wow! Everything's coming up roses, even though they're frozen. The weather may be below zero, but Barack heated things up with his big announcement. He's going to be President. Yeah, I'm sure you all know that by now, but there are things you probably didn't know, like you should show up early because otherwise you may end up staring at a cameraman's butt. We all know Barack's going to need a running mate. How about Citizen Kate? Me as the first female running mate. Note to self: You need to do something big to be noticed in Politics.

Citizen Kate: Hanging with Bob Mulholland, Political "Bad Boy."
Dateline: San Diego, CA. How progressive is the Democratic party? They promise to get America out of Iraq (yay!), stop global warming (yay!), and let a woman run this country, in a bikini. Well, I might do that, I don't think Hillary would. She might try it.
Dateline: Malibu, CA. How do politicians raise money? It turns out you have to go to Malibu. Just like Barbie!
Note to self: when interviewing presidential candidates, always remember to push "record."
Senator Gravel really gave us a day to remember...
