February 2007, “GTmotorsports Commercial 2 – The Drive” DV, 2 min. Positions: Director, Cinematographer, Editor - Commercial for Web and TV. Filmed high speed racing with a chase car rig, stationary cameras, and multiple on-car camera mounts.
February 2007, "GTmotorsports Commercial 1 – The Dream" DV, 2 min. Positions: Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Digital Colorist - Designed a dynamic multipoint lighting setup to reveal different parts of a stationary race car as a dollying crane shot moved around the scene.
May 2007, "Noise Floor" DV, 15 min. Positions: Director, Writer, Editor, Cinematographer - Short narrative experimental film. Story follows a paraplegic who no longer can stand being trapped in his wheelchair. Character tries to overcome his inner torments and loses touch with reality. Film explores the mental space between conscious and unconscious. Designed and created numerous special effects and unique camera rigs to create a sense of disorientation. Special effects include motion tracking, macrophotography, compositing, and matchmoving segments filmed in a 3-walled greenscreen room. All Music was composed for the film by Matt Bigelow.
January 2008, "All That Is Human" HD Video, 6 min. Positions: Director of Photography, Digital Compositor - Shot studio style in HD with Zeiss distagon primes. A touching film which explores the nature of humanity and human sexuality in a desolate and isolated future where interaction is mediated entirely through cyberspace and the definitions and the very nature of human instincts are lost. Shot on a set with local professional actors, crew of 25, and rented equipment. Won of Best Picture at Georgia Tech Campus Moviefest 2008. Nominated for Best Picture at Campus Moviefest Atlanta Grand Finale 2008.
January 2007, "Fanya Kaplan" DV, 7 min. Historical fiction, based on the true story of the 1918 attempted assassination of Lenin by a revolutionary woman named Fanya Kaplan. Russian with English subtitles. Script was translated into Russian and American actors were taught to speak lines phonetically. Music composed for the film by Rolan Duvvury. Won Best Picture for Georgia Tech, Atlanta Best Picture, and National Best Picture in the 2007 Campus Moviefest competition.
