Prehistory Today Episode #1
My new series focuses on reviews of dinosaur-related materials. The first episode is a review of the first segment "T-Rex Returns" from the epic mini-series Prehistoric Park.
Film is set in the future. Humans on spaceship named "Tantra" are exploring the unknown part of the Universe. The spaceship gets trapped by the mysterious Iron Star. The Iron Star's powerful force of gravity is to hold the spaceship for 20 years. The humans are facing a very tough survival challenge, being surrounded by the invisible predators. The predators can eat human flesh right through heavy spacesuits, and some crew-members disappear. Only the light from "Tantra" can scare the predators away. The film was originally intended to be the first episode of a series of films however the remaining parts were never made. De facto name - The Andromeda Nebula: Episode I. Prisoners of the Iron Star. Writer Efremov was banned by the KGB. Next episodes were never filmed.

1967 Sci-Fi Movie Fantasy Alien Erotica Mamie Van Doren
A drive-in movie delight, Voyage to the Planet of the Prehistoric Women is a sexier and more wonderfully ridiculous sequel to Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet. Throw the plot out the window and bring on the monsters and seductive alien women! Some spectacularly freaky ideas punctuate this sixties sci-fi romp: telepathic powers that cause volcanos to erupt, android worship, and yes, giant lizardmen.
A time travel experiment that was supposed to produce a window into time turns out to be a portal instead. One of the experimenters steps through into a not-too-distant-future world that has been destroyed by nuclear war. Some of the others follow, but then the portal phases out and they can't get back. Things just get worse after that.
Der vorlonische Botschafter fällt kurz nach seiner Ankunft auf der Station fast einem Attentat zum Opfer. Hauptverdächtiger ist Commander Sinclair.
The film is based on the science-fiction novel "A Picnic on the Roadside" by Russian sci-fi writers, the brothers Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. Stalker is the man who knows a lot about the system of obstacles and traps in the Zone. He knows the way to the coveted room where any wish may come true. To find this room is the goal of Writer and Professor. The writer hopes to find inspiration there, the professor dreams of making a discovery. Led by the Stalker, they finally reach the room⦠But will they be able to enter it? And what will the path of self-knowledge lead to? The Andrei Tarkovsky film does not offer definitive answers. Quoted in the film are the verses by poets Fyodor Tyutchev and Arseny Tarkovsky, the director's father.
