"Transgeneration" (the series) & "TransAmerica" (the movie) have opened up public discussion about what it is to be male and/or female or somewhere in between. Gender identity is separate from sexual orientation. 25% of transexuals are attracted to members of the opposite biological sex before changing their gender identity. For them, changing gender means going from being a heterosexual biological woman to being a biological gay man--or from being a heterosexual biological male to being a lesbian, as can be seen in my previous vlogs: "Transgender Same Sex Marriage" and "Why Women Chase Trans Men".
