Pete Townshend explains his mental state as it is on stage followed by the Who's landmark Woodstock performance. I like this particular performance. The grinding maelstrom of Pete's shrieking guitar being blasted to half a million people is a classic example of "orchestrated chaos." It's music to my ears!

Peter Kenneth Frampton (born 22 April 1950 in Beckenham, Kent, England). He first became interested in music when he was seven years old. At age eight he got a guitar and started taking classical music lessons. By the age of ten, Frampton played in a band called the Little Ravens.
