A Car-Tune Portrait was an early cartoon by pioneering animator Max Fleischer. Released on June 26th, 1937, it gave an imaginative take on Franz Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 in C-sharp Minor. The cartoon features a lion dressed up as a musical conductor, attempting to keep his orchestra of animal musicians in order as they half-play, half-fight their way through the piece. Memorable moments include a Dachshund playing the xylophone using his back legs while the rest of him sleeps, a group of monkeys using a flute as a pea-shooter to fire at their fellow musicians, and a horse trombonist who attempts to swat a fly using his instrument but who only succeeds in hitting the dog trumpeter in front of him.
The Stooges' friend Jerry informs them of a great money-making scam: buy insurance, go to the insurance doctor and claim insanity, and be paid $500 a month for the rest of their lives. Eager for easy money, they take a policy out on Curly, and then proceed to bring him into the insurance doctor, Dr. D. Lerious's office with Curly masquerading as a dog. Curly's performance is so convincing that the alarmed doctor demands that Curly be prepared for "cerebrum decapitation." After giving the doctor and a hospital guard the runaround, the Stooges escape, just barely, and vent their revenge on Jerry. 1940
The Stooges join the RAF hoping to fly, but wind up as motor pool mechanics instead. Marshal Boring falls for Larry in drag, and the Stooges manage to steal the Germans' war plans. 1943

Instead, they find two sympathetic businessmen (the two crooks, in disguise) who offer to pay back the losses if Moe, Larry and Joe will pose as juvenile wards for a rich and eccentric millionaire, Montgomery M. Montgomery. But Montgomery is actually Prince's and Broad's gang leader, and plotting to kill the Stooges. 1958
The Stooges are artists who fall in love with three models, Larraine, Moella and Shempetta. They go to ask their father for their hands in marriage, a request he denies when he recognizes them as the "hoodlums" that accosted him earlier. After a wild chase around the house, the Stooges finally change his mind by tickling his feet and they marry the girls. The Three Stooges played all the parts in this film. 1950
Moe, Larry, and Joe discover that Joe's fiancee's ring has been stolen. The Stooges suspect it is Elmo, a muscular bully who works at their plant. The Stooges come face to face with him in the company gym, but when they try to make him give the ring back by physical force, the plan backfires and Moe and Larry are knocked senseless.
