The Stooges try for a $25,000 reward offered by a museum, for scientific evidence that cavemen still exist. They return from an "expedition" with a film of caveman life, which is actually the Stooges and other actors in disguise. 1955 A remake, with stock footage, of I'M A MONKEY'S UNCLE (1948).
Moe, Larry, and Shemp reminisce about the sweethearts that they met during the war, who are coming to the States to marry them. The Stooges decide to have a toast, but their drink is too strong, and they get drunk. After a seltzer fight, Shemp winds up with his feet in cement. Moe and Larry blast him out, but also blast themselves out to the dock where their sweethearts are waiting. 1950
Boxer Chopper Kane's trainers Moe, Larry & Shemp receive instructions from their boss, Big Mike, to arrange for Chopper to lose the big championship fight... he's placed all his money on opponent Gorilla Watson. When Watson moves in on Kane's goil Kitty, Chopper vows to moider da bum, and the Stooges are left to face Big Mike's wrath. 1955
The Stooges are small-time actors and stage hands. They are told by by their boss to keep out a notorious drama critic who has been trashing the company's shows. The Stooges disguise themselves so well that Moe and Shemp mistake Larry for the critic, and they whale the tar out of him before discovering their mistake. Of course the critic enters in the meantime. But the Stooges save the day, when an errant potholder cooked into a cake for the play's climatic scene causes them to cough up feathers and make it a comedy hit!
It is the middle of Prohibition and the Stooges are unable to buy beer. They decide to make their own and produce 185 bottles of beer. The boys are soon arrested for bootlegging. The warden finds out Curly has smuggled a keg of beer into the prison and the boys are sentenced to a long stretch. The Stooges are finally released after 40 years, but when Curly asks for a bottle of beer, he is thrown back into the warden's care by Moe and Larry. 1946
The Stooges again run a fish business. Curly suggests that they buy a boat to catch their own fish. "That would eliminate the middleman and the profit would all be ours." They buy sailor outfits, with Curly masquerading in a real Captain's uniform, and then are mistaken for Japanese when their boat sinks and they have to raise a paint-splattered rag to signal for help. 1945
The Stooges have no clue that they are dating the same woman, who is using them to get engagement rings from all three. The boys arrive at her house separately, and each give her a ring. While taking a look around the house Moe & Larry spot each other and catch Joe snuggling with "their" girl. A fight ensues, and Moe and Larry beat each other senseless. But Joe gets the upperhand, with help from a little invention the Stooges came up with. 1957
Healy and the Stooges are thrown out of the Happy Hour Theatre because of Ted's woman chasing. He promises to straighten out and give up women, but his promise doesn't last very long. The boys get jobs as waiters at a restaurant, but of course they manage to wreck the place and thrown out again. Healy promises to give up women for good, but then sees a beautiful woman turning up her stockings. He tries to work his charm on her, but she turns out to be an undercover policeman! 1933
Originating from a DVD collection of mostly public domain material, which includes the cartoon segments you'll see here, this is interesting mainly for the live segments that you'll see from the cartoon series, a glimpse of "Kook's Tour", the film that was never completed because of Larry's stroke, and interviews with Stooge family members.
Vagrants Moe, Larry and Joe answer a want ad for merchant seamen, and arrive at the futuristic house of eccentric Professor A. K. Rimple, and his beautiful assistant/daughter. Rimple's house is actually a rocket ship, and the Stooges find themselves shanghaied for a trip to the planet Sunev (Sunev is Venus spelled backwards, but don'tchu tell somebody, it's a secret!). Exploring the planet surface, the Stooges are captured by amazon cannibals and inadvertantly saved by the arrival of a giant-sized reptile monster. Returning to the ship, the boys accidentally knock out the Rimples, and are left to pilot the ship to safety by themselves before the monster destroys it. 1957
