The Stooges are fix-it men who are employed to fix the doorbell in a house that belongs to a nest of German and Japanese spies. Moe, Larry and Curly proceed to destroy the walls of the house looking for the problem before moving outside. Curly is then sent up to fix the wires atop a telephone pole. While "fixing" the lines, Curly slides his chair towards the window of the spies' main control room and crash through the window inside. He discovers their sabotage plans and he, with Moe and Larry manage to sabotage the saboteurs and get the final drop on the spies. 1943
The Chief of Detectives gives Moe, Larry and Shemp 24 hours to solve the murder of Slug McGurk. They question a witness, an Italian organ grinder with a British accent, but he runs away when they mention a murder. A frustrated actor named Gilbraith Q. Tiddlewadder (better known as Chopper) tries to confess as a publicity stunt, but the real killer shows up, outraged at not getting credit, and starts shooting up the police station.
The Stooges are tailors in the Navy, and when they can't get a pass they steal some officers' uniforms. Curly is mistaken for Admiral Taylor, and the Stooges go to a party where some spies try to get them to show them the Navy's new top secret submarine. When the real Admiral Taylor shows up, the Stooges pretend not to know him, and decide that they had better make themselves scarce, so they hide out in the submarine, accompanied by the spies!
The Stooges are small-time actors and stage hands. They are told by by their boss to keep out a notorious drama critic who has been trashing the company's shows. The Stooges disguise themselves so well that Moe and Shemp mistake Larry for the critic, and they whale the tar out of him before discovering their mistake. Of course the critic enters in the meantime. But the Stooges save the day, when an errant potholder cooked into a cake for the play's climatic scene causes them to cough up feathers and make it a comedy hit!
The stooges have no clue they are dating the same woman, who is using them to get engagement rings from all three. The boys arrive at her house separately & each give her a ring. While taking a look around the house Moe & Larry spot each other and catch Shemp snuggling with "their" girl. A fight ensues, Moe and Larry beat each other senseless, and Shemp is rapped on the head with a fireplace shovel by his sweetheart who leaves them laying. 1952
The Stooges learn that their pal Bill has gotten married, and decide to set-up his new antenna and television set as a present before moving out. In the process, they manage to thoroughly wreck his house! 1953
Set in the Western town of Dead Man's Gulch, The Stooges learn the last 6 sheriffs were killed by the villainous Badlands Blackie. He has kidnapped the father of a woman named Nell and Blackie threatens to kill her father unless Nell marries him. Curly becomes the new sheriff, thwarts Blackie and saves Nell's father. 1946
, Larry, and Shemp decide that they are natural born tax experts and decide to start a business that helps other people cheat on their income tax. Their scheme doesn't last long, when it turns out that one of their customers is an undercover agent for the income tax department! After a chase, the IRS takes the stooges to jail. 1954
The Stooges are hired as detectives to protect John Goodrich from the Phantom Gang, but are tied up, causing them to be an hour late. Before they arrive, Goodrich is snatched by The Goon, a member of the Gang. The Stooges then arrive and search the house. They find Goodrich and have a fight against the Gang, knocking them all out. 1949
The Stooges find themselves enrolling in an eastern dental school, and despite making a monsterous set of dentures with a life of its own, manage to graduate, with the recommendation to go "out west" to set up practice. Their first customer is tossed out (fortunately for him) when a tough local Sheriff comes in with a toothache. In his nervousness, Shemp drops his dentist manual, and accidentally picks a book titled The Amateur Carpenter instead (not that the Stooges notice for a while.)
