The Stooges are three Union spies who infiltrate the Confederate headquarters of General Butts. They manage to trick him into revealing the Southern army's true strength, but are later exposed as spies and have to make a run for it. 1935
The Stooges are in a frontier town running a crooked gambling game. They are caught cheating and must make a run for it. While hiding in the woods, they are discovered by the sheriff and flee into Pierre’s cabin. They dress up as Indians and fool the sheriff. They return to town where Pierre falls for Curly (who's dressed as a female Indian) and takes her as his wife. When he learns "she" is a "he", the boys must make a getaway. 1936
The Stooges are janitors, cleaning up the office of movie producer B. O. Botswaddle. After botching up, they are fired. When Curly impersonates a chicken with its head cut off, Botswaddle hires him (and the other Stooges) for his new movie. The crew heads off to the jungle to film the picture, with Curly as a gorilla. A real gorilla appears and the Stooges escape. Curly eats love candy, which he bought from a local witch doctor, and chases the gorilla away.
The Stooges play actors hoping to make it big with their "Niagara Falls" routine, but always slip up when they get to the "inch by inch" line. They soon meet three dancers Flo, Mary and Shirley and land a job performing at a shipyard. The Stooges' act is a success and, after another routine, the boys marry the girls. The film ends with the couples going on a honeymoon in (where else?) Niagara Falls. 1944
The Stooges are singing waiters who find out their girlfriends' father will be jailed if their debts are not paid off. This makes the boys become prospectors. What they find is buried money stolen by their boss. Their boss discovers his stolen loot and the chase is on. The Stooges lasso a cigar store horse to the crooks' getaway car which crashes into the local jail. 1939

The Stooges find themselves enrolling in an eastern dental school, and despite making a monsterous set of dentures with a life of its own, manage to graduate, with the recommendation to go "out west" to set up practice. Their first customer is tossed out (fortunately for him) when a tough local Sheriff comes in with a toothache. In his nervousness, Shemp drops his dentist manual, and accidentally picks a book titled The Amateur Carpenter instead (not that the Stooges notice for a while.)
The Stooges are trying to get a patent on their rather unusual fly-catching device, but they calculate that they need to catch 100,000 flies to pay for the patent. Some crooks overhear them, and misunderstand, thinking that the Stooges are the winners of the $100,000 sweepstakes. When the crooks start chasing the Stooges, the boys hide in a sporting goods store. Curly accidentally shoots a store manequin, and thinking it's the real thing, the Stooges panic and try to get rid of the body. They try to dump it in the alley, but a cop comes along and chases them away for trying to "dump garbage." They then decided to bury the body in a pet cemetery, but a nightwatch hears them and calls the owner, who comes over with a couple of his friends from a costume party to terrify the Stooges.
Millionaire Rumsford has about had it with his wife Sheri's eccentric behavior. He calls the office of psychiatrists Ziller, Zeller and Zoller to help. The call is taken by the Stooges, who are actually phone repairmen. They assume the doctors' identities and try to cure Sheri at her society birthday party, while inciting a cream puff fight. During the cream puff fight, Lorna Gray, who played Sheri Rumsford, had a cream puff accidentally lodged into her throat. Curly mentioned his wife, 'Gertie,' which was actually Shemp's wife's name.
The stooges go west on vacation for Shemp's health, who has a swollen vein in his leg. At a saloon the stooges get acquainted with Nell & Shemp begins to tell her about his vein. Doc Barker overhears & thinks Shemp is talking about a hidden gold mine. Later the boys find out that Doc Barker stole the Red Dog Saloon from Nell & will kill her boyfriend the Arizona Kid if she doesn't marry him. After being freed from his cell the Arizona Kid rides to get the calvary but when they arrive find that the stooges have layed out the bad guys. 1947 Remade as PALS AND GALS (1954), with stock footage.
