The most unusual art fair during The Armory Week in New York took place at the Swiss Institute in Soho: The Dark Fair. Presented by Milwaukee International this miniature art fair took place without the use of natural or electric light. Instead, the international selection of galleries and artists displayed work using candlelight, flashlights, oil lamps, works that glows in the dark. Swiss Institute, New York, March 28, 2008.

A first look at the 5th Berlin Biennial for Contemporary Art. The Berlin Biennale was founded in 1996 by Klaus Biesenbach, founding director of KW Institute for Contemporary Art, and a group of collectors and patrons of the arts. The aim of Berlin Biennial is to organise a representative, international exhibition of contemporary art in Berlin every two years and to attract attention to less established younger artists.
