This is a great documentary about the Spread of Islam. It does talk a little about what the West gained from the Muslim Expansion but this is just the tip of the iceberg. I'll try to upload some more about Islamic Influence on Western Philosophy, History, and Technology.

The Prophet asked that people not write stories about him nor draw pictures of him because he did not want people to go astray by worshipping him. He taught Muslims to worship GOD alone.
