A clip from episode 25. Ahiru and Fakir are both drowning, and succumbing to Drosselmeyer's terrible fate. As they descend, they realize their goals are identical, and their roles are two parts of a whole. And so they dance (of course) and ascend...
A clip from episode 12. One of my favorite scenes in the series. Ahiru and Fakir are hunting to Mytho and with the help from a rogue Edel-san, they know where to go. After a silly little conversation, they find they are trapped. The only way out is if Ahiru reverts to her duck mode, but then Fakir will know her variant form! What to do?
A clip from episode 21. Ballet class is teaching en pointe! Ouchie to our students, Ahiru, Lilie, and Pike!
A clip from episode 22. Uh oh... Neko-Sensei wishes to talk to Ahiru one-on-one. Does he have a genuine interest in her studies at the academy, or is he considering her as a mate? Knowing the teacher, likely both!
A clip from episode 19. No, this really has very little to do with the play beyond the character naming. Lilie and Pike are convinced that Ahiru is in love with Fakir and are trying their best to help (see the stretching exercises for a typical example).
A clip from episode 26. And so, we bring this series to its conclusion. The clip starts in the surreal, whacked-out world of despair where Rue is trapped, then moves to a scene where a beaten down Ahiru the duck faces a citty of ravens. Fakir writes the story and Ahiru gets another beatdown. How suspenseful! The full, total, complete ending? Not here; I've heard people say they loved it and others felt betrayed by it. This is the denouement of the story anyways; the conclusion, while needed, is a cool-down of sorts.
A clip from episode #5. Princess Tutu must save a portion of Mytho's heart, and at the same time, get him on time with his date with Rue! Can she convince the spirit to help release this piece of Mytho? And more importantly, is Rue going to be stood up?
This is a requested clip, from episode 5, "On the eve of the Fire Festival." Rue should be practicing her dance moves with Mytho, but she hasn't shown up at the dance studio. Ahiru's nearby on janitorial duty, and Mytho pulls her in for a brief dance. Her mop bucket (ugh) comes in handy at the end of the clip, though.
This is a clip from episode 16. Lilie and Pike talk with Ahiru about Fakir, and suggest that Ahiru is interested in Fakir, too... hence the "three way" interest in them that Pike mentions. Why, what were you thinking about? ;) Meanwhile Neko-Sensei is still having a problem attracting the ladies. Poor guy.
A clip from episode #4. Mytho's missing, and Rue and Ahiru are looking for him. Though we can't really call them buddies, Ahiru's silly personality does win Rue over a bit. See 1:43 when Ahiru is unintentionally mimicking Rue's out-of-breath speech :)
