City orienteering, 'Running City' is extremely popular city orienteering competition in Russia. There are many different classes in Running City for runners, for bikers, for rollers, in some clasess competitipos may use public transportation. This is a competition for teams from 2 till 4 guys. Adventure Club Xdream is organizing a 4-stage adventure race series 'Hansapank Xdream' and this video is about the first event. These races have become extremely popular in Estonia, this race attracted 816 participants (272 teams), which makes it to our knowledge the largest adventure race in the World. A lot of orienteers participates in these races, trekking always takes part on orienteering map, sometimes biking and canoeing also. Thanks to Tõnis Erm for providing us this video.
Traditional long orienteering race in Moscow region. Teams and individuals started at midnight of Saturday for 60km race with 2 map changes, so the place of the finish of the first leg is unknown on start. After the night rest in the forest, at 7AM of Sunday participants started for the second 30 km leg. Topographical maps using, not orienteering. Very demanding and tough race.
