Fun with Toys: James and the entourage plays with light sabers at Star Wars, a fan shows his prowess, and another offers "free hugs". Lots of comics along the way to visit the Troma Booth. James meets Lloyd Kauffman (of Troma fame) and receives a warm welcome and kind words. He reacts to his idols praising his work. He wraps up with a "thank you", plugs the movie and release date and walks into the crowd.
At the Booth: James and Garret open with the car at the Fox Booth. Getting behind the wheel they both intro the promotion and recount their history with the prize. They join Amanda to learn how to enter to win, and what they have to do. After a review of both movie posters James leaves the booth to see the show.
Segment 1 is our introduction to James, his entourage and Garret in San Diego (like every other fan) grabbing a bite at a local notable and heading through the crowds to CominCon. We get a glimpse of the city, the convention center exterior and wrap up with pent up demand for the "more to come". The "experience" does start for most outside of the center. It also provides a logical spot to play the trailer so the references, promotions, talent and comments make sense.
The Signing: Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, James Wan and Garret Hedlund enter a fan packed Fox Booth for an autograph signing. Fans to the left, to the right... and behind. James signs a posted for the fans at MTV, and introduces his lead, Kevin. The signing wraps with a group picture and Kevin leaving the booth. James thanks us all for coming along and leaves with Garret.
Follow James and Garret to the FOX Atomic Booth: They come upon the car and recollect, jump in and sell the promo. Garret includes highlights of the car. Amanda helps the boys enter the contest - web cam pic and all - then on to the show floor.
On the Floor at ComicCon: James, Garret and the boys make their way from our booth to the showroom floor.
