SKYDIVERGIRLS-012 I Love Ellen - 01 Episode 012 (time=01:14) One of the reasons I relocated from beautiful Toronto Canada to the Los Angeles area was to meet Ellen DeGeneres. Her show is taped here in Burbank, California. I believe that support from Ellen would make a huge positive impact on the success of SKYDIVERGIRLS. I also believe that if she knew about what we do at SKYDIVERGIRLS, she would TOTALLY DIG IT! I've decided to send her tapes asking to be on her show. I hope to someday "Share the Love of Life" via a regular segment on Ellen. Women in Extreme Sports is SO KEWL and POSITIVE VIBE! Here is the first of however many it takes. I'll post them for you to see as well and ask that you also ping her for this effort. Here's a link to her web-forms. Please tell her you'd like to see "SKYDIVERGIRLS on Ellen!" Don't worry, a new skydiving episode will be posted soon. We're now following a girls 4-way competition team. Look for that story up here next!
I Love Ellen - 03 SKYDIVERGIRLS-016 (time=02:26) Skydive Perris had a big-way event with 102 skydivers all in the sky together. As they landed, I asked a friends to say hi to Ellen and invite her to come out and play with us. Please tell her you'd like to see "SKYDIVERGIRLS on Ellen!"
SKYDIVERGIRLS-022 (time=02:52) KFC is traveling the globe to prove to Ellen our reach is far and wide! Girls from everywhere truly are Skydiving and watching Ellen. Wouldn't it be nice to combine the two? C'mon Ellen DeGeneres! Hear from Floridian SkydiverGirls and take that step toward the most fun you've ever had! Thanks go out to SkydiveTampaBay :-)
SkydiverGirls Out-Take 018 In March 2008, there will be a Women's Vertical World Record attempt at Skydive Arizona. SkydiverGirls' own KFC is training to be on that record. SKYDIVERGIRLS-013 Fastrax Blue Episode 013 (time=01:45) Meet Fastrax Blue. They are an all girl 4-way competition skydiving team. Yes, this is a real sport and a 4-way is one of the categories/disciplines. We catch the girls training in the Perris Valley Wind Tunnel. Tunnels are great for training because you can get many skydives worth of practice in a very short period of time. One skydive=one minute of freefall training but it takes a lot more time for the entire jump experience (~40mins). Wind Tunnels are continuous but you still need breaks as it's a real workout to fly this much. Stay tunes for more teams, more diciplines, and more girls kick'n it! See our "Lindsay" episode 005, for an introduction to wind tunnels. Please tell Ellen DeGeneres you'd like to see "SKYDIVERGIRLS on Ellen!"
