Siegfried And Roy Thought This Was Safe Too. 01:08

And look where Roy ended up. It amazes me that people would take risks like this

  • I love big cats. Here is a short video clip of "Boss". Boss is an African Lion that was rescued by Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. He lives in a HUGE naturalistic habitat yard nestled in the the hills around Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He always has his nose to the wind sniffing for interesting smells. When he stands majestically in the soft blowing Ozark Mountain breeze his extremely long dark mane sways with the wind making you feel like you have just met Mufasa or Simba from the Lion King movie. YOU Can even adopt or sponsor Boss.

  • A tiger is stalking a big snake that is slithering through is habitat yard. It inquisitively watches the snake then jumps away. It is so funny. If you want wallpapers, screensavers or jigsaw puzzles of big cats visit www.ZooFun4u.com/TCWR/

  • African Lions live in family groups called Prides. The females lions do most of the hunting. These large carnivores never make good pets. The job of the male african lion is to protect the Pride and its territory. Lionesses help each other take care of the lion cubs in the Pride.

  • This male African Lion is having a fit as his keeper tries to open his gate and let them out into their big yard. Can you imagine having this in your backyard? How many attacks can you find if you do an internet search? LOTS! Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Cougars, Bobcats and many other wild animals, exotic cats, are sadly kept in people's back yards. Most of them meet tragic fates in the end. This grumpy lion was one of the lucky few who was rescued by a sanctuary. A true sanctuary does not breed, do not buy, do not sell nor do they allow the public to pet the animals. Winter is coming fast, the costs in caring for these rescued lions, tigers, bears and more sky rockets in the winter. Vitis www.TurpentineCreek.org & www.ZooFun4u.com/TCWR and learn what you can do to help.
