Regina Brett Receives the 2009 Silver Gavel Award from the American Bar Association
The Silver Gavel Awards recognize entries from communications media that have been exemplary in helping to foster the American public's understanding of the law and the legal system. Past winners include To Kill a Mockingbird, Hitler's Courts: Betrayal of the Rule of Law in Nazi Germany, The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court and Guantanamo and the Abuse of Presidential Power, to name just a few.
