This segment is a clip with comic Steve Harvey before he made it big. Neal Marshad produced and directed several one hour TV specials in association with the world-renowned Improv. During a 3 year period Marshad film crews traveled to 10 U.S. cities documenting the auditions of thousands of comics. Marshad directed the first-time appearances by Steve Harvey, Judd Apatow, Ellen Cleghorne, and Ray Romano. Marshad is an Emmy award winning director, producer, and cinematographer who produced short films for NBC Saturday Night Live in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
