The two women are good friends and neighbor, who have experienced the widespread mistreatment of women and the double standards that permeate Iranian society today.

Grindhouses would specialize in showing the stuff you probably wouldn't take your mother to see, as the films were often extremely graphic, sleazy, contemptible, and schlocky in nature from both foreign and domestic distributors...blaxploitaion, sexploitation (hard and soft core), hixploitation, nunsploitation, violent chop socky features, Japanese monster films, European horror sleaze, gore, giallo (Italian thrillers), `mondo' style films, nudie cuties...these were many of the various genres popular prior to the subsequent disappearance of the grindhouse venues by the mid to late 1980s

This is actually a English language film but it is directed by one of the greatest non-english directors of all time. My favorite director infact: Jean-Luc Godard. This is without a doubt one of the weirdest films ever made and doesn't seem to follow much logic. This film is not on dvd and I doubt you will be able to get the VHS anywhere so enjoy : )
