Mark Rashkow the chicago blues legend , is now living & playing in Israel. Born in Chicago in 1951 , and immigrated to Israel in May 2003, Mark has played with superstars such as: Buddy Guy , Junior Wells , Buddy Miles , Howling Wolf , Muddy Waters , Paul Butterfield , Mike Bloomfield , opened for Michael Jackson & the Jackson Five and many more. Mark formed the blues band in Israel with Galor Taite on bass&vocals , Doron Eshel on guitar , Nave on harmonica&vocals , Edi on guiter and eli kalir on drums. After being together for only a year, the blues band are currently gigging and preforming all over Israel , playing blues like only mark can.
Nancy Bahnsen has come on the local Long Island Blues scene, and here is one song, from the Cedar Beach Blues fest, at Bald Hill. She is bluesy, and captures the feel of the blues.
