As innovative as they are influential, Kraftwerk’s contribution to the development of electronic music since their formation in 1970 remains unsurpassed. Having inspired everyone from Bowie to Coldplay, Siouxsie to Radiohead, this bizarre collective have also proven partly responsible for entire genres to develop - electronica, techno and synth-pop to name but three.

Liquid Sky (Slava Tsukerman, 1982) Plot summary: Tiny aliens in a very small flying saucer (which looks like a cheap neon Frisbee) come to Earth, looking for heroin. They land on roof of a penthouse in New York's East Village (new-wave Manhattan) inhabited by a drug dealer (Paula E. Sheppard (the former child star of 'Alice, Sweet Alice')) and her female, androgynous, bisexual nymphomaniac lover, who is a fashion model (Anne Carlisle). The aliens are after the chemicals produced in the human brain during orgasm, which they have discovered is far superior to heroin, and the model's casual sex partners quickly begin to disappear, one by one by one. This increasingly bizarre scenario is observed by a lonely, (sex-starved) woman in the building across the street, the German scientist, Johann Hoffman, who is following the aliens (played by Otto Von Wernherr), and an equally androgynous, and drug-addicted male model (also played by Anne Carlisle).

Copyright © 2007 Casey Harmon i don't know why we must question if we're perfect and why do we wonder what's right when we know it we know it we know it so i'm ready to fall and ready to run i'm ready, baby, let's fly cause i'm ready to fall for you, baby, you're the one it's not an accidental frame we're in this place for Him so why do we try to mold His masterpiece we're still unsold but i know it i know it so i'm ready to fall and ready to run i'm ready, baby, let's fly cause i'm ready to fall for you, baby, you're the one now you're just my love song keeping me breathing resting in pieces like you left me why were we always dancing with the line of truth or faith feeding the flame of doubt to destroy our desire you put me out when i knew it i thought i knew you now i'm afraid to fall too worn out to run my shattered wings won't fly cause you let me fall for you, but baby you weren't the one
