Two people were injured when their car slid out of control and was sliced in half by a light pole. The accident in Mandan was described by an investigator as the worst car damage he'd seen. The car was passing a pickup on Old Red Trail when it hit compacted snow and smashed into a lightpole and a fire hydrant. Police think it was the pole that cut the car in half.
