It's November 15 2008 7:18am in Northern Illinois ...In my opinion it's the peak of the rut in this ... part of the country. I was hunting a creek crossing where the trail funneled down in a dense thicket. While this is not the biggest buck I have harvested...It IS a prerequisite to harvest a Boone and Crockett Whitetail buck on this property. Ron implements Quality deer management ...and in order for me to arrow a Booner...I was required to cull a inferior buck.
