MR. MOTO'S GAMBLE 1938 PETER LORRE TRAILER
Theatrical trailer for the third "Mr. Moto" entry starring Peter Lorre, MR. MOTO'S GAMBLE. This film actually began as CHARLIE CHAN AT RINGSIDE, but when then-Chan Warner Oland (birth name John Verner Olund) suffered a mental breakdown with acute dementia, Fox rewrote the script and included both Key Luke -- as Jimmy Chan -- and Harold Huber -- as Police Lieutenant Riggs -- from the series. IRON MOUNTAIN TRAIL 1953 REX ALLEN TRAILER
Theatrical trailer for the 1953 Rex Allen western, IRON MOUNTAIN TRAIL. Television had such a devastating impact on exhbitors and producers of such Saturday matinee staples as B-westerns and serials, that both genres would see their last releases by 1955. Singing cowboy Rex Allen started later than either Gene Autry or Roy Rogers, but developed a substantial following thanks, in large part, to "The Arizona Cowboy's" magnificent voice and the quality of his 16 Republic films. THE ALAMO 1960 JOHN WAYNE TRAILER
Re-release theatrical trailer for John Wayne's magnum opus, THE ALAMO. Despite being nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture (it won for Best Sound) and being one of the top ten grossing films of 1960, the film's 12 million dollar budget forced Wayne to assume huge personal debt in order to finish the film after its distributor, United Artists, refused to pay for cost overruns during production. It wasn't until THE ALAMO was sold to television in 1971 that Wayne's personal debts were paid off. Tsarevich Alexei injures at Spala causing an extreme bleeding. Alexandra seeks Rasputin help and Germany declares war to Russia.
Tales from The Other Side Episode 3 featuring The Brain Machine hosted by Dr. Mark Cutimup. This has got to be the WEIRDEST movie we've shown so far on TfTOS (as well as our previous show Pastor Z's Very Low Budget Horror Cam). It's also probably the most fun we've had hosting a bad B-Movie. Here's the movie in a nutshell: a secret government plan for TOTAL SURVEILLANCE of the US population using a machine that can read minds and convert the thoughts into audio visual images (i.e. "movies") a doctor with a beehive hairdo straight out of the B-52s and James Best --- better known as Roscoooooooooooooooooe P. Coltrane from Dukes of Hazzard. This is wayyyyy too much fun fit into a one-hour time slot! Enjoy!

Brad Pitt plays Benjamin Button, a man afflicted with "reverse aging" as he is born 80 years old. This is an enchanting film and Brad Pitt turns in a stellar performance. I review the new film.
